Dear & Yonder – An Exhilarating Surf Film Starring the Ladies

This weekend I finally watched Dear & Yonder, Daring Stories of Ladies United by the Sea, and I have to say, I LOVED it.  A good friend had told me about this surf film ages ago, and I truly regret not watching it sooner.  It exceeded my expectations, because it is so much more than a ladies’ surf flick; it is a truly inspirational film focused on women who are living their lives to the fullest and excelling in what they love.  Yes, almost all of the ladies portrayed are amazing surfers, but they are also designers, surfboard shapers, sailors, skateboarders, etc.  In addition, the film, which was supported by ROXY and Surfing Magazine, was beautifully shot and edited.  I plan to buy the Dear & Yonder DVD for myself and my sisters asap.
